This 1-hour digital taster course is for beginners who are new to the Michel Thomas Method. Learn 50 essential Russian words and how to put them together to make yourself understood. You will start speaking Russian immediately; right from the very beginning you will be able to construct simple Russian phrases by listening and thinking out answers for yourself. During the course, you will join Michel Thomas Method teacher and native speaker Natasha Bershadski, and 2 students in a live lesson. You will learn at your own pace, pausing and repeating where necessary, and complete the course in about 3-4 hours. Foundation Russian

Foundation Russian is about getting Russian under your skin instantly, getting you to speak effortlessly, with all the punch and vigour of a native speaker. During this 8-hour digital course you will learn the language along with 2 students, using their mistakes and successes to stay motivated and involved for the duration of the course. Within the first hour you will be able to construct simple sentences. By the end of the course, you will have the confidence to understand and speak basic Russian. You will learn at your own pace, pausing and repeating where necessary for practice to speak in Russian, and complete the online course in about 20-30 hours. This course is available to stream or download via the Michel Thomas Method Library app and incorporates the Start Russian course.

Intermediate Russian

Intermediate Russian is the next step in your language journey and follows on from the Michel Thomas Method Foundation Russian course. You will join native Russian speaker and Michel Thomas Method Teacher Natasha Bershadski, along with 2 students, in a live lesson, learning from their mistakes and their successes, hearing them ask the same questions you are asking yourself. As you learn more about the sentence structure, you will understand more and more grammar and pick up further vocabulary so that, by the end of the Russian lesson, you will be able to use what you know to communicate effectively. You will learn at your own pace, pausing and repeating where necessary; it will take around 15-20 hours to complete this digital course which is available to stream or download via the Michel Thomas Method Library app.
